Experience the sacred Kumbh Mela at KAILASA Seattle temple under the divine guidance of THE SPH. This auspicious celebration brings the essence of Hinduism’s most sacred gathering to our community, home to North America’s largest Panchaloha Nataraja Murti, standing an impressive 12 feet tall.
Crafted with love by The SPH himself, devotees often report hearing the anklets of Lord Nataraja’s Ananda Tandava during darshan. Our temple proudly continues the sacred Akhāḍā tradition established by Paramaśiva, offering traditional homas, abhishekams, and pujas alongside our commitment to service through Annadhaanam, spiritual healing, and counseling.

With the divine grace and blessings of THE SPH, KAILASA Seattle blissfully celebrated Global Kumbh Mela USA 2025 on Sunday, February 23, 2025. This sacred event was a grand success, with devotees from all over Washington State coming together to immerse themselves in the divine festivities.
The celebrations commenced in the morning with the Rudra Homa, invoking the presence of Paramashiva and Swamiji.
Following the Homa, we had the grand procession where the Utsava Murthies of Nataraja, Venkateshwara, Sri Devi, and Bhudevi were carried in a procession around the temple at the West Valley Business Park. Despite the rain, the air was filled with devotion and joy as devotees danced and sang, filling the atmosphere with the chants of ‘Bhagavan Nithyananda Swami ki Jai!’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev!’ The rain itself became a blessing, adding to the sacred energy of the occasion.
The highlight of the day was the sacred Snan. The chief priest of the Sanatan Dharm Mandir, Dr. S.R. Shastri ji, along with his team and their deities, joined in this divine ritual. The Bhoga Murthies of KAILASA Seattle, along with the deities from Sanatan Dharm Mandhir and the personal deities of devotees, were all bathed in the sacred waters, sanctifying the entire space with their divine presence. The Aarti was then offered, filling every heart with devotion and bliss.
A delicious Satvik meal was served to all visitors. All the visitors were also gifted with a Bhagavad Gita book, a Kumbh Mela booklet, Nataraja pictures, and an information pamphlet detailing the various spiritual services offered at KAILASA Seattle.
This event was more than just a celebration—It brought us all together, strengthening our bond as a team. With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we offer our humble pranams to THE SPH for his divine vision, guidance, and blessings that made this event possible.
