The Grand Festival of Amrit Snan at KAILASA USA
Devotees gathered for a magnificent Kumbh Mela celebration in Los Angeles during Vasanta Panchami. KAILASA temples and partner Hindu organizations hosted traditional Amrit Snan ceremonies and grand processions, while the deities were adorned in ceremonial green and white to welcome the Spring season. The historic gathering brought together Hindu communities from across the diaspora to participate in sacred rituals and receive divine blessings.
Sacred Rudra Homa at Global Kumbh Mela Celebrations
A powerful Rudra Homa ceremony highlighted the Global Kumbh Mela Celebrations. Priests performed this ancient Vedic fire ritual, chanting Sri Rudram and Chamakam mantras from the Krishna Yajur Veda. Sacred Kalashas, filled with waters from holy rivers and worshipped as embodiments of Paramashiva, were prepared for the upcoming Amrit Snan ritual at the sacred tirtha.
Global Kumbh Mela Celebrations begin in KAILASA USA with Deities from KAILASA's Temples
KAILASA temples across North America and Malaysia united for a historic Vasanta Panchami Kumbh Mela celebration in Los Angeles. Temple deities from nine KAILASA centers, including Malaysia, Toronto, and multiple US locations, gathered for the sacred morning abhishekam in the garbha mandhir of KAILASA USA Los Angeles. Hindu Parliament representatives and temple members joined together for this auspicious morning ritual, marking the beginning of the grand Amrit Snan celebrations.

On February 3rd, 2025 many American Hindu Temples organization’s gathered and celebrated the Global Kumbh Mela celebrations in the auspicious kshetram of the Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple of KAILASA USA Los Angeles.
